Service and hard work are themes that run through everything Alec has done professionally. Having served in the Army as an Infantry Officer, graduated from West Point, Ranger School, and Airborne school as well as having completed an overseas tour in Afghanistan, Alec understands that hard work, attention to detail, and passion for what you do make all the difference between getting it done and getting it done right. After leaving the army, he joined corporate America as a technology consultant, and his most rewarding experiences have been making a coworker or client's life easier by helping get rid of a persistent problem that they have to deal with on a daily basis. Alec jumped at the opportunity to franchise with Sir Grout to fuse his passion for helping people and getting tough jobs done right.

Annalise grew up the daughter of business owners whose purpose was to support the daily living of developmentally disabled adults in the Pacific Northwest. From their example, she spent her early years learning the importance of hard work, valuing hard workers, and living with purpose. She implemented this work ethic immediately in her first career out of college, as an actress in Los Angeles, while also working four simultaneous part-time jobs. Performing gave her a unique perspective on collaboration, with every project or performance working toward the end of bringing genuine reprieve to audiences' lives. Leaving LA for Alec as a military spouse, she found work where her attention to detail could be utilized anywhere the Army sent them. When they moved to Indiana, she was pregnant with their first child and began her most challenging job yet, as a stay-at-home mom and then, two years later, a mom of twins. Throughout her life, what Annalise has cared about most is people. After their twins were born, she recognized her passion for mental health and went back to school, pursuing her education in psychology on her way to becoming a licensed mental health therapist. As a mother of young children and an adult student living 2,500 miles from family support, she fully understands the value of anything that can make life easier. The positive effect Sir Grout's services have on the daily lives of its customers, combined with the excellence they uphold, resonated strongly with her.

Alec and Annalise have lived in Central Indiana since 2018, and the kindness of this beautiful community has made Indiana home. Their three children were born here, and after years of roaming, their roots have finally found a place to thrive.
